Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana is about to co-star Star Trek XI. She will be playing Uhura, "which means freedom in Swahili", and acts as a member of the bridge crew on the U.S.S. Enterprise.
Saldana, whose credits include "Guess Who," recently wrapped the Sony thriller "Vantage Point." She is filming James Cameron's sci-fi tentpole "Avatar."
